編集盤"The Best of Ventures"を取り上げます。
2回目の来日と同じ月に発売された、ナイスなジャケと内容で、当時のエレキ少年達の憧れの１枚でした。発売時期としては、｢ベスト｣と言っていい選曲です。
ただ、"The Best of Ventures"ではなく、"The Best of The Ventures"でしょうね。

翌月の65年2月には、"The Fabulous Ventures"（日本題｢ ポピューラー・ヒッツ｣が、同写真のデザインで発売されました。これも日本独自ジャケで、素晴らしい！

何と前年、64年5月には、ベスト盤のピンナップ・ガールの別ショットの写真で、レコードが発売されていました。このレコードは、イージー・リスニング音楽集ですが、コアなベンチャーズ・ハード・コレクターには、必須の１枚！（いずれもフェンダー・ジャガーのヘッドストックの文字が消されています。）
